What does it take to build a high school master schedule for 1250 students?? A lot of time and attention to detail.
The process begins in January as our teachers make course recommendations for students and they complete their elective requests. Our department heads build each contents schedule based on those numbers.
Today, we put it on the "big board" and come together to trouble shoot any potential issues or hurdles. Every piece that is moved creates a domino effect elsewhere, as we look to balance the offerings across the 6 period day.
Next, we will finalize the master in preparation students to personally select their 25-26 schedule in late April.
IMPORTANT- in order to select their schedule, 25-26 Online Registration must be completed for your student. Do so on your IC parent portal today. It only takes 5 minutes!

SSG Walker visited today for Colt Academy to discuss options for students who may be interested in joining the Army! There are a multitude of possibilities for students and their futures! We are so lucky to be able to give them the tools they need to succeed!
