Thank you for the passion, patience, and expertise you bring to our schools and students. We’re so grateful for all you do! 💙

🍉☀️ 294,326 reasons to celebrate! That’s how many meals and snacks our team served this summer to kids across Jessamine County. Even though our goal is simple-- serve our community and make sure our students have the nutritious food they need, all year long--this was no small undertaking. Huge thanks to our Child Nutrition staff, school and district administrators, and volunteers for all of your hard work to make it happen! 💙

From getting new Chromebooks ready and tech accounts set up, to making sure student IDs are good to go, Andrew has been a tremendous help. We appreciate all you do!

While the rest of our JCS schools are already back in session, we’re counting down the days until our TPS family joins us! ❤️ New TPS principal Jesse Law and her team have been busy getting everything ready for the school year. They can’t wait to welcome families at Open House on August 21 and greet TPS students on their first day back on August 25.

Wednesday, August 13th is the first day of school in JCS!
To all the students walking through those doors tomorrow, remember that you've got this! Embrace the new friends, the new lessons, and all the possibilities that this year holds.
To the parents/guardians sending their little (or not-so-little) ones off, take a deep breath. You've done an incredible job getting them ready, and now it's their time to shine.
And to the amazing teachers and staff, thank you for all you do. You're shaping the future one classroom at a time.
Wishing everyone a wonderful and successful school year ahead! Let's make it a great one. ❤️
