📚 Help Share the Joy of Reading! 📚

The Care Council is hosting the Jessamine Co. Book Drive from September 2nd to October 2nd! ✨

💙At its heart, this drive is to ensure that all JCS students have books at home to read together with their families! Books will be distributed to Kindergarten and 1st grade students in November during Parent Conference Day.

🎯The goal is to collect 150–200 books, and our community's support can help make it happen!

🤝How You Can Help
Donate: The Care Council is asking for new or gently-used children's books.

Drop-Off Locations: Look for collection bins at JCS Elementary School Libraries and the JCS Central Office.

The JCS Building Services team never stops learning. Many of our Head Custodians spent time this week training on the use of our new carpet cleaning equipment to ensure our facilities stay in tip-top shape.

Dianne is one of Red Oak's rockstars and anyone who works with her knows this honor is so well-deserved. She is a phenomenal team member who wears many hats - and wears them all beautifully!

Whether it's keeping RED's budget on track, helping out in the front office, or maintaining records, Dianne is the ultimate team player. She is wonderful about checking in with students and working closely with them. In fact, students can earn a special lunch with her, and it's easily one of their favorite rewards! And, as a bonus, she always has chocolate on hand to brighten anyone's day. 🍫
