📢 Attention JCS Educators!

The Jessamine County Education Foundation is once again awarding mini grants of up to $1,000 — and this year’s focus is a little different:

✨ Grants will ONLY be awarded for classroom projects. ✨
(Unlike previous years, other types of projects are not eligible.)

✅ No matching funds are required.
⭐ Matching funds (equal to or greater than the grant request) will earn extra evaluation points.
📝 Applications must include a detailed, itemized budget.
🚫 Projects may not include salaries or items that would be purchased regardless of the grant.

📊 Applications will be scored using this guide: https://goo.gl/PdJ2V7

📅 Deadline: Tuesday, October 21

We’re so grateful to JCEF for their support of classroom innovation that directly impacts students!

From our youngest learners to our high school seniors, JCS students are building the attributes of our Graduate Profile every day! 🌟

In September, JELV students are spotlighting Work Ethic — doing their very best and not giving up, even when things get hard.

We love that our littles are learning to give their best effort and supporting their friends to do the same! #BuildConfidence #WorkEthic #JCSGradProfile

We’re so grateful for a community that stands united—investing time, expertise, and resources to protect and support our kids.

Last Friday, Broadway artists Mary Kate Morrissey, John Cardoza, and Courtney Reed led masterclasses with some of our Jessamine County students and other students in the area. Students learned about acting through song and received some amazing feedback and time with the artists.

🍉☀️ 294,326 reasons to celebrate! That’s how many meals and snacks our team served this summer to kids across Jessamine County. Even though our goal is simple-- serve our community and make sure our students have the nutritious food they need, all year long--this was no small undertaking. Huge thanks to our Child Nutrition staff, school and district administrators, and volunteers for all of your hard work to make it happen! 💙
