A massive shout-out to our incredible Custodial and Maintenance crew! ❄️ While the buildings are quiet, these teams are clearing lots and sidewalks, monitoring our facilities, and keeping everything running smoothly in this winter weather.

They work behind the scenes to make sure we’re ready to hit the ground running the moment it's safe to return. Also, how cool is this find? Just further proof that we have the best crew in the state! 🏆

What does it feel like when kindness , good choices, and stellar behavior are recognized by your bus driver and your school?
It looks like this! 🤩
A great school day starts and ends on the bus. Our drivers and monitors are a vital part of our positive behavior team, working alongside our schools to celebrate students who lead with kindness and respect. These two superstars were caught rocking JELV's 5 Steps on the ride to and from school, earning them a free Raising Cane's kids combo. 🍗
Way to go, Otters! Thanks for making your bus ride a better place for everyone. 🚌

Hard work doesn't take a break! JCS Custodial Services spent time this week to level up their skills with specialized training on gym floor resurfacing. Big thank you to Kenway's Ron Redmon for his help leading us through this process and to our team for keeping our facilities in top-tier condition for our students.

The Holiday Spirit in Motion! 🚌
Last night, the incredible teachers and staff from EJMS went above and beyond to bring the holiday spirit directly to their students' doorsteps! 🎄

With a school bus decked out in twinkling lights, their team set off through neighborhoods to spread some serious cheer. From singing festive carols to handing out steaming cups of hot chocolate, it was an evening filled with smiles, songs, and, two of the best gifts we could've asked for, family and community. 🎁

If you've driven by WJMS lately, you've likely noticed just how quickly the renovation is taking shape on the outside-now here's a look inside! 👀The blue/gray tiled space is one of the new restrooms and the rest of the photos highlight classrooms, the Family and Consumer Science kitchen, and common areas that are taking shape!

We love seeing our students celebrate the joy of reading! 🗺️

Mrs. Baxter's kindergarten students at JELV are combining phonics with fitness in a game of "Stomp and Spell." They had so much fun mastering their letters and sounds that they asked to play again during indoor recess!
