Check out the fantastic new structure that will provide shade for our Warner Elementary family when they return to school next week! Thanks to the incredible generosity of Warner's PTO, students now have a shaded outdoor classroom space right on the playground.
This new addition provides a flexible learning environment, protects students from the sun, and encourages more time outdoors for learning and play. We’re so grateful for our supportive community that helps our district enrich the educational experience and meet the needs of every student! 💙

Our East Jessamine High staff were excited for their first orientation for their Jaguars yesterday! One down, three more to go!

🏆 Huge congrats to JCTC's Elizabeth Crump for receiving the “Heart of the Classroom” award at the KACTE Summer Conference! She stirs up excellence daily in her culinary classroom, and this is a well-deserved honor. We’re so proud she's a member of the JCS family!

Yesterday, our East Jessamine High School Student Services Team came together with all JCS student services educators for our annual JCS back-to-school retreat! It was a powerful day of collaboration, planning, and professional growth. We participated in meaningful training sessions focused on how to better support our students academically, socially, and emotionally, because every Jaguar matters. We’re entering the school year united, energized, and ready to walk alongside our students every step of the way. Here’s to a strong start and an even stronger year!

If you've passed EJHS or WJHS lately, you've likely seen (and heard) our amazing band students hard at work! Before we even kick off 25-26, these dedicated performers are putting in the hours for a strong start to the season. We're excited for what's ahead! #BandLife #MarchOn

JCS welcomes Lauren Sommer as our district orchestra teacher! We are excited about continuing this program and we will be sharing additional information soon. Welcome, Ms Sommer!

Members of JCS Custodial Services come together with the West Middle team to move furniture and classroom supplies to the new portables. TEAMWORK on display!

Exciting times for our district high school bands!
Not only have both bands grown in numbers, but they're making great use of the new band towers!
We love seeing the growth in our arts programs!
