Mrs. Williams and Ms. Deaton work ed with seniors today to apply real world skills. by discussing the pros and cons of electronic payment systems. They worked through a bank account simulator to learn how to manage funds, pay bills, and balance their spending. Additionally, this helps students to be connected citizens and enhances their community impact. By managing finances wisely, individuals can contribute to the economic health of their community. Responsible spending and saving habits can stimulate local businesses and boost the overall economy. Way to go, Mrs. Williams, Ms. Deaton & Seniors!

📣 Exciting News! West Jessamine High School has been honored with a Purple Star Award , recognizing the incredible support provided to our military-connected youth and their families. 💜✨ This prestigious designation highlights WJHS’s commitment to ensuring that students from military families—whether they are Active Duty, National Guard, Reserves, or Veterans—have the educational and social-emotional resources they need to thrive and become college, workforce, and life-ready. Why purple? 💜 It symbolizes the unity of all military branches, blending Army green, Air Force blue, Coast Guard white, Marine Corps red, and Navy blue into one powerful color. Congrats, WJHS!
