We are incredibly thankful for our school arts teams that pour into our students every day and can pull out their creative ideas and allow them to express themselves on a daily basis. We had a great time of learning and conversations as a team last week!

We were honored to host KY Education Commissioner Dr. Robbie Fletcher and KY Board of Education Vice Chair Dr. Lu Young for a look at the amazing learning happening across our district every day.

At JCTC-East, they saw our future-ready students in action in Fire Science, Culinary Arts, and Early Childhood Education

Then at East Jessamine High, they experienced our Jaguars’ academic and artistic excellence—stopping by Choir, AP Government & Politics, and AP Calculus. A special “full circle” moment came when Dr. Fletcher, a former math teacher, even jumped in for a mini lesson!

From hands-on career training to high-quality academics and the arts, we’re proud to show how JCS is ALL IN for preparing every student for their future.

Thank you for visiting! #AllinKY #VibrantLearning #JCSExcellence

We were incredibly proud to host Kentucky Education Commissioner Dr. Robbie Fletcher and KY Board of Education Vice Chair Dr. Lu Young at Rosenwald Dunbar Elementary today for a very special reason.

Our guests visited RDES to hear directly from our students about their Jessamine Cares Malawi orphan care project. It was a powerful opportunity for our young leaders to share their passion, hard work, and the global impact they are making from right here in Jessamine County.

We are constantly amazed by the compassion and dedication of our students. This project is a beautiful example of how our schools are nurturing not just great students, but outstanding global citizens.

Thank you, Dr. Fletcher and Dr. Young, for celebrating this meaningful work with us. It shows our students that being "All In" means caring for our community and the world! #AllinKY #VibrantLearning #JCSExcellence

Even when students are away, our team is always learning! ✨

A huge shout-out to our dedicated Custodial Services leaders who spent part of Election Day investing in themselves with a session focused on enhancing their leadership skills.

These are some of the essential team members who keep our buildings safe, clean, and running smoothly. We are so proud of their commitment to growing as leaders in their vital roles.

A special thank you to Mary, Will, and the team at Jessamine County Adult Education for facilitating this fantastic professional development opportunity.

To infinity and beyond! ✨ The Special Education Team at Warner Elementary is all about teamwork, just like Woody and the gang! Dressed up as their favorite Toy Story characters, this crew goes above and beyond every single day to ensure their students have a friend, a guide, and the high-quality instruction they need. Highlighting instructional excellence at JELV! The Special Education teacher, Carla Miller, is dedicated to supporting Tier 1 instruction using evidence-based practice during her resource instruction. By implementing the structured, systematic approach of UFLI, she is ensuring every kindergarten student, including those with diverse needs, builds foundational literacy skills with fidelity. This is how we achieve high expectations for all learners.
