They say the best teachers never stop learning, and it's true! ✨
Before the first bell rang and the halls filled up, our team was hard at work. spending the extra time soaking up new ideas, collaborating, and doing their homework before the big day.✏️
Now the roles have flipped, the classrooms are full, and our teachers are doing what they do best - leading the way. 🎉
Here’s to the prep work that makes the magic happen and a school year of learning on both sides of the whiteboard! 📚

Take advantage of these incredible opportunities provided with funding from the Jessamine County Education Foundation!

Improving our craft, one step at a time!
The JCS Building Services team never stops learning. Many of our Head Custodians spent time this week training on the use of our new carpet cleaning equipment to ensure our facilities stay in tip-top shape.
Shoutout to our dedicated crew for taking the time to master new tools and techniques. We appreciate everything you do to keep our buildings shining! 👏

Our incredible partners at Donaldson stepped up in a BIG way recently. Thanks to their generosity, over 2,000 back-to-school items were donated to help our students gear up for a successful year ahead! 📚✏️
All of those boxes pictured are full of donated supplies ready for our classrooms. We are so grateful for wonderful community partnerships like this that add a little extra support right when it means the most.
Thank you, Donaldson, for investing in our kids and our community! ❤️✨

Once a Mustang, always a Mustang!🐴
Our district is defined by a rich history of dedicated leaders, educators, and staff who have poured their hearts into making our schools a welcoming home for generations.✨
Yesterday, Brookside Elementary had the honor of welcoming back the school’s very first principal, Mr. Carl Megee (1979-1996). Mr. Megee toured the halls with current principal Nick Schuerman and shared some amazing memories. 💙
Thank you to Mr. Megee and to all who laid the foundation for everything we do today.👏
Were you at BES during Mr. Megee’s time as principal? Share a favorite memory!👇

We are so excited to partner with Visit Jessamine this year to showcase our students’ and teachers' amazing artwork throughout the seasons.🎨
