Our 4th graders have begun their owl pellets dissections! Students are learning about predators and prey, the food chain, and how to sort and classify bones based on their characteristics. This is always a favorite STEM challenge!

Check out some of our 5th graders practicing the Japanese art of Taiko drumming! This is part of the collaboration between Mr. Schatko (music) and Mrs. Goggins (art).


Mrs. Figg's class practiced being Connected Citizens during Kindness Week! They collected items to donate to the Jessamine County Animal Control Center. A few students were able to join Mrs. Figg when she dropped off their donated items. We love seeing our students and families helping our community!


Mrs. Goggins (art) and Mr. Schatko (music) have been teaming up to teach a variety of concepts this year. Currently, 5th grade students are practicing Japanese Sumi-e art during their art rotation and doing Taiko drumming during their music rotation.

Some of our 4th grade Art Enrichment students had the opportunity to explore digital art with tablets that were donated to the art room. We are grateful that our students get to be exposed to a variety of art styles!
