History has been made at East Jessamine High! We are thrilled to celebrate Shaylin Adams, who has been awarded the prestigious Gates Scholarship, a full cost of attendance scholarship to any school in the US that also provides additional support throughout college! Out of more than 48,000 applicants nationwide, only 750 students were selected… and Shaylin is one of them! Even more remarkable, she is the first student in East Jessamine High School history to receive this incredible honor!
Shaylin, your drive, determination, and excellence have led you to this well-earned achievement. Your Jaguar family is beyond proud, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish in the future!

Congratulations to Haley Hager for an amazing performance this past Thursday at the 2025 KHSAA State Archery Championships. Out of 296 girls Haley placed 73rd with an overall score of 279 out of 300! Way to go Haley!

Getting the weekend started with a 3rd place finish and a new school record at Eastern Relays! Way to go Jay (1200m), Lane (400m), Darius (800m), and Nate 1600m)!
We’re thrilled to share that 12 of our students were selected to attend the Governor’s Scholars Program and it’s looking like we could have 13 official GSP Scholars by the end of the summer! This is the MOST we've ever sent from East High!!! Congratulations to these outstanding students! Their hard work, dedication, and excellence have earned them this prestigious opportunity.
