On Tuesday, March 12th, ALL Juniors are required by the Kentucky Department of Education to take the ACT. We also have sophomores Who registered to take the ACT on this day. These students need to report to school at the regularly scheduled time.
Testing will finish after 12:30pm. Any student who drives must have a signed permission slip to leave after testing.
We will distribute permission slips during advisory time on Thursday. Students who do not sign out after testing will have a study hall for the remainder of the day. The AM and PM buses will run on their normal schedules. Students who are not taking the ACT (all 9th and 12th students and any 10th grader who did not sign up for the ACT) will have a digital learning day.
A digital learning day is similar to an NTI
Day. Students will not report to school on this day but will work from home.
Students will complete a digital learning assignment for their classes that will be similar to what a student does on an NTI
Day. Non-testing students who do not complete the digital learning day work will have an unexcused absence for that day.
ACT is next week, so we are breaking out the pencils! Thank you to all of our aides who help us prepare for testing!
