As we finish up with Kentucky Safe Schools Week, today we’re shining a spotlight on the custodians who work to keep our school safe and healthy. Their dedication to cleanliness, especially during flu and virus season, and their diligent facility maintenance make our school a safer place to learn every day for our Jaguars.

Stepping into the past! Our AP World History students dove into a hands-on trade simulation, exchanging goods like linen, cinnamon, ivory, and more to experience the complexities of ancient global trade. Watching them navigate supply and demand, and learn about cultural exchanges was incredible!

Shoutout to Hunter and Sadie for leading a fantastic fishbowl seminar on Chapters 8-11 of Their Eyes Were Watching God. They did an outstanding job guiding high-level discussion and making sure every voice was heard in our ENG 210 class of Literary Studies. Way to go, both of you, for fostering such an engaging and inclusive learning environment!

Our Superintendent's Forum met yesterday with Sara Crum to discuss how things are going at East! We are proud of our representatives and look forward to the fruits of their discussions!

Once a Jaguar, always a Jaguar! We love that our former chorale students came out to support our Jags last night for their fall concert!

A few teachers passed on the photo op, but they love to support our Jaguars!

Our choir filled the room with such beauty and emotion. Every note, every harmony was a testament to their hard work and passion. We couldn’t be more proud of these talented Jaguars for not only sharing their incredible voices but for moving us all with the power of music. Their performance wasn’t just heard, it was felt. Thank you for reminding us how special it is when voices come together in perfect harmony.

These boys..no..these young men have created an unforgettable experience!

These ladies are bringing it tonight! We are so moved by the strength of their voices and the radiance of their confidence!

The voices of our Cantemus Choir are echoing through the beautiful sanctuary of Edgewood Baptist and we can't help but think their voices are carrying throughout Nicholasville. Can you hear it? Do you feel it?

As we continue through Kentucky Safe Schools Week, we want to recognize the incredible work of Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Fugate, our school's gatekeepers! These two ensure that every visitor is properly checked in and screened, playing a vital role in maintaining the safety of our students and staff. We would also like to share about our Raptor System, which checks in guests and conducts background checks on all visitors, helping us create a secure environment for learning. Together, we will continue to keep our Jaguars safe!

Join our choir department for their fall concert this evening! You'll hear their voices ringing through the town tonight at 7pm.
